Upon entering Creperie Du Monde I spotted a woman sucking down by curly straw what looked to be a strawberry milkshake in a jar. Immediately I knew I wanted one (after all, I'd just come from a long walk in Walthamstow Marshes!) Sadly, the strawberry milkshake was where the goodness at Creperie Du Monde began and ended for me.
My omelette filled with chicken, carmelised onions and avocado sounded like a winner but tasted like it came in last. It was oddly sweet (sickly so) and where I expected avocado slices I got a gooey green substance instead (which may sound like guacamole but was decidedly not.) I had several bites and left the rest.
Still, I feel like this place has promise: there's outdoor seating, the crepes looked right, the wifi's free (and it works!), the milkshakes were tasty and the seating downstairs is cosy and well-appointed.Helpful 4Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Emma P.London, Storbritannien13151624 apr. 2016
I really like this creperie because of the choice of crepes and the quality. My favourite is the middle eastern which is so tasty, with a sesame crepe, humous, spinach and halloumi and peppers. They also serve great milkshakes in old fashioned milk bottles which is a cute touch!

The decor is to my liking: funky art, comfy sofa, old wooden chairs, some small tables inside, and many more out front.
As Patrick W. wrote, there are both savory and sweet crepes made with either buckwheat or white flour. For 75p more, one can have a tiny portion of green salad on the side and your crepe served on a plate not folded up.
I chose a really tasty "Eggs Benedict" style crepe (with side salad) that included smoked salmon and scrambled egg. It was flavorful and well made, if, however, a bit on the skimpy side. (Or was I just unusually hungry that day?)
Oh, yeah, and they have a juicer! Beetroot juice is the bomb. :)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 3Oh no 0 - Hannah M.Stroud, Storbritannien642081648 okt. 2013
This was a lovely cafe, and the bonus was that they do VEGAN crepes. Most of the sweet menu can be veganised. I chose the New York Crunch, I think it was called. It was a crepe filled and topped with oreos, with nuts and caramel. We also got one with banana, caramel and cinnamon. Seriously amazing. The service was lovely too - the guy who took our order was very helpful and friendly, and the girl who made our pancakes came out to double check with us that the oreos were definitely vegan (they were, the ingredients confused her slightly). I liked that she came out to check with us rather than just going ahead anyway.
Lovely interior, cosy, a little rustic, and definitely welcoming. Will be back.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Qype-användare (Ms_Asi…)London, Storbritannien64614 juni 2011
Have thought about going in since I first saw it open on Chatsworth Rd many moons ago as it looks so lovely from the outside. I finally decided to go, having been somewhat put off by reading the review on here.
After studying the menu, I decided to opt for the classic, lemon & sugar wrap. The pancake cost £3, which I thought was reasonable, for some reason they give you the option of paying 50p more to have it served on a plate. My mint tea was served in a beautiful china cup. It did take a while for my crepe to arrive even though it was very quiet & there weren't many customers about.
I enquired about Wifi and was given the password so I could play around on the net whilst I made myself comfortable on the sofa.
Given it's a créperie I can't say I was blown away by the actual crêpes. I think I'd need to try some of the other options before I could say for sure.
All in all I'd say it's a lovely place to hang out & get some work done & for that reason I shall be going back. The food is nothing to write back home aboutHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jessie W.Teddington, London, Storbritannien10953811 aug. 2015

I'm in love with the décor and interior.
It is all surrounded with stylish art combining modern and classic furnitures. They are all so fluffy and comfortable awww.
There is also lovely outdoor seating area, which is good for the hot days.
The staff is super friendly and they have free Wi-fi yaaay!
Honestly, the oreo crepes are the best. I can never get enough of those.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ellen S.London, Storbritannien1575815 aug. 2016
I absolutely loved this wonderful place because they offer gluten-free crepes alongside their regular ones which already gives them full marks in my book. We popped in on a sunny afternoon, took a seat in the large windows and ordered our crepes. I opted for a savoury crepe whilst my friend went for sweet. My crepe had emmental, mushrooms, aubergine, tomato and rosemary and was utterly divine. My friend's disappeared within a few minutes so fairly sure hers was delicious too. Lovely little place and somewhere I'm contemplating taking himself for a breakfast treat.

The food was very good, but we had to wait for over 30 minutes to be served. The space downstairs was nice and cozy, but only served us on old wooden chests, no tables, made it difficult to eat comfortably. Latte was good, but came in a small tea cup and had long since been finished off by the time the actual meal arrived.
It didn't seem as if the place was extremely busy, but clearly they are not set up to deal with many customers. Would only recommend this place if you have time on your hands and not in a great rush.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Zag Z.East Brisbane, Australien052825 juli 2016
I really wanted to like this place. I was super keen for crepes so I was excited when I ordered my classic - lemon and sugar. However it was really disappointing. It was so hard I couldn't cut it with the knife - it was also swimming in lemon and sugar. Result was tough to eat. Service was also REALLY slow. We waited over 30mins for our crepes despite there only being one other customer. Reason for the stars- my soy (and my mothers skinny) flat white were delicious! My mother also liked her 'English country' crepe so in hoping mine was just a mistake. Would go for coffee but wouldn't risk a crepe
