EAT.

Great place to grab a quick salad, soup, sandwich or even a hot pie. I love their pies. They are delicious and very meaty.

I've had an absolutely shambolic experience with this branch.

After ordering and paying for my latte, I waited 10 minutes at the end of the counter. Stood like a lemon while other customers were served before me, I decided to prompt the barista (photo attached), it turns out he was unaware of my order, even though, I heard the cashier shout it to him TWICE!

This is the THIRD time I've experienced this very same situation in this branch. Therefore, I brought it up immediately with the barista and we had a heated debate about it in front of the other customers in the branch.

I then asked to speak to the manager who was sat in her office. She was made aware that a customer was waiting to speak to her, however she kept me waiting and didn't even bother to come out to speak to me! After five minutes waiting for her, I told the cashier I didn't have time to wait any longer and passed the message to him. I'm absolutely furious that after such an awful experience, the manager can't even be bothered to come out and speak directly to a customer regarding a complaint! Instead she hid away in the office and wouldn't come out. It's no wonder this branch is such a mess if that is the level of skill of the manager! The manager obviously needs to reassess the communication in this store between cashier and barista. I'm fed up of paying and waiting for a coffee that never arrives and having to remind your staff. No solution was offered in store even though it was clearly their mistake. I was just told 'sorry, sometimes we can't hear'. Even when I complained through head office the manager didn't bother to call me and follow up. Absolutely terrible customer service.

I come here at least once a week for a tuna toastie, even though it makes me feel like a fat fatty!


The staff are really friendly and accomodating- i always ask for my toastie to be overdone!
The manager is lovely, which is the stark contrast to the tyrant we had when i used to work in Eat when i was 18.


Overall, good place, way better than those do gooders at Pret!
