Amazing place! Food, drinks, location, ambiance! The tree, FIGUEIRA RUBAIYAT, is 150 years old, the restaurant was built around it! It's an environmental heritage, it's definitely a majestic tree!
Saturday is feijoada day, which is a typical Brazilian food with black bean and all kinds of pork meat! The side dishes are unbelievable! This is a must see!
Service is not the best at all, yet the experience is so wonderful
That I will keep the 5stars. When I'm São Paulo don't miss this spot!

I have been to this restaurant two times and both were fantastic. It is popular so make a reservation. The service is very good but I will say it was better the first time than the second. The steak is high quality and the octopus is tender with great flavor. The rib appetizer as well as the salmon and beef carpaccio was great as well.

Top-shelf steakhouse in Sao Paulo. Their claim to fame is the fig tree that is growing in the middle of the restaurant. The structure of the building helps support the tree's canopy and you feel like you are dining in the forest (within reason).
Everything is tasty and well prepared. Top quality beef can't be discounted as a choice for the main course but other options are available.

The vibes are excellent, largely out in open air setting, big fig tree! Pricey, but the food and service is high quality. Tried the wagyu cut which was decent (not as good as Kobe beef in Kobe Japan but it's close ish). Would come back for special celebrations but otherwise quite pricey.

Foods, drinks, nice environment. There's a huge fig tree among the tables... beautiful place.

The place is beautiful! Stunning, truly. The food is good, but the service was lacking. I came in at 5:30pm, a bit very busy time, with the dining area less than half full. It took 20 minutes for my drink to come, which was just the waiter pouring vermouth onto an ice cube. From when I ordered, it took an hour for my entree to come. I'm not sure if they forgot my order or what happened, but they didn't offer any recompense (maybe a language issue?)

This is an amazing restaurant. Service, atmosphere, menu, location, food & wine all 5 star. I asked the hotel front desk where they would recommend and they said Figueira. It was epic.
Check out the pics I snapped. No need to rehash all the yelpers who have already said all that needs to be said about the 200 year old massive fig tree in the middle of the restaurant and the amazing food and service.

Excellent food and ambiance! Went to this restaurant after a long day of work in SP and we had an amazing dinner and a great time. The ambiance is second to none - - - beautiful and modern feeling with a real gigantic figueira tree in the middle of the dining area.

On top of being a uniquely beautiful restaurant built around and under a tree, the staff was professional, kind and top notch. One waiter spoken exceptionally well English and while I tried my best - my pronunciation was terrible.
I had the Palm Heart Noodles and a tuna tartare appetizer. It was good if not a little too "safe". I didn't feel adventurous nor as if I was enjoying the culture but it was satisfying. I had a strawberry meringue dessert which not only was beautiful presented but delicious. Glad I saved room.
