On arrival we were greeted with a welcoming smile! dining room had 2 empty tables. I was expecting dinner to be good. Locals eating and really enjoying the evening. The meal was delightful! Food very tasty. Surloin steak cooked to order med/rare. Perfectly done! The salad with steak was simple but the dressing was very good. adult beverages were on point. Good beer and vin. Cocktails available did not try. Desserts were very good. I don't have a million dollar palate but the meal was very good. Staff very attentive and friendly. Casual place I will be returning to before we leave France. The value offered here is great.

An amazingly welcoming cafe. Walking unaware on an early Sunday morning, I stepped into L'Armagnac for what I thought would be a quick coffee. However, Elrick was so damn charming, spoke English better than me, and was so well informed about everything, I stuck around for an hour. My Cafe Americano, with two hits of expresso, was perfect, and I was beaming after my Parisian experience. I do love Paris.

This place is absolutely perfect. We went back several times. Amazing cheese, charcuterie and wine! Gary speaks great English and is the most accommodating! Rang in my birthday at midnight and they helped me feel very special! Can't wait to go back when we go to Paris again!

I was making my way back from a splendid meal at the nearby Chez Paul when I had a sudden yen for a nightcap and the sight of the large screen TV showing the PSG match was enough of a draw to lead me into L'Armagnac.
On arrival, I was warmly greeted, although denied an ale option - L'Armagnac seems to focus mostly on lagers. The barman disappeared before I could pay, so there was obviously a tab system in operation.
The place was lively, but not overcrowded and I felt pretty comfortable, even though this isn't a touristy area.
I was going to stop at one drink, but when it was time to pay, the friendly girl pointed out that their minimum card charge would cover two drinks anyway, so why not stay for another one? So I did.
A great local bar, nicely staffed, well looked after.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - A Z.Tujunga, USA220145 nov. 2017
Great find in the neighborhood where we are staying. Dinner was delicious and the dessert was even more incredible...Nutella crepe infused with cognac. Amazing. If you're looking for a cozy little spot for a nice meal and a drink, check this place out.

We were visiting Paris from the United States and found this amazing restaurant on our last day in the city. The staff was wonderful. They gave us many recommendations about the menu and great things to do in the neighborhood. The food was amazing. Best food we had our entire trip. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. We hope to revisit someday.

If you want to see the Charonne metro station for its historical notoriety you might stop here as well. The Penne al Kennedy in a deep bowl was rich and succulent and wonderful to wash down with a Heineken. A pleasant surprise in off the beaten track Paris.

This little basserie is in a little neighborhood. My friends and I went during the time when most french people dont eat (around 2-3 pm). They only had the croque monsiers available so we got that. I actually think its the best one I've had the whole time I was in paris. The only disappointment was that I couldn't try their other food! A Croque monsier is just a ham and cheese sandwich but its really "frenched up". The cheese is melted in a way that it is really crispy on top of the bread but still ooey gooey underneath. When I go back to paris, I really hope to try their other food!

This is a nice little neighborhood place in the 11th for classic French fare or just to enjoy a cocktail/beer. Pretty affordable and great for intimate little groups of 4 or less to share a bottle of wine!
