Marks and Spencer

Great branch of 'Marks' with a lovely choice of clothes and gifts. I always thought of Marks as being expensive but I picked up some bargains there today! (Some good quality men's jeans for £9.90) Very helpful friendly staff too. Recommended. UPDATE NOVEMBER 2008: Great cafe upstairs with lovely coffee served in nice cups with a free macaroon on the side! My husband enjoyed his iced pecan cake - it looked gorgeous. Everything fresh and looked after and the staff extremely friendly - a great service altogether. I think we just discovered our favourite place for coffee in Carmarthen. UPDATE DECEMBER 2008: Another excellent visit to this pleasant cafe. Discovered today that all coffee and teas there are Tradefair and the very helpful and knowedgeable staff member, Ben, made us aware that the cakes and the other food items available cater for different allergies and dietary needs. For instance, there is a lovely gluten-free Christmas cake slice available at the moment. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

This Marks and Spencer stocks a wide variety of clothes, homeware and foods.


Its easier to shop here as you are relatively close to a large car park so you dont have to carry bags far. This is quite a big store and it doesnt feel as squashed as some stores.


The coffee shop is indeed an assett and always seems to have a steady flow of custom.


The staff are friendly and able to help with any queries without any problems. A good all round service.

Great marks and spencer i have to say its very large and it has a huge range of clothes, food and gifts etc.
The staff are very nice and polite.
It is really well spaced out.

I find this branch of M&S one of the best in the area. The cafe, though cramped is excellent and the service is much quicker than the other close by branches. The staff are wonderful and the man who let us try the Mulled Wine in the food hall last weekend was very friendly!

An adequately sized store with a good selection of clothing. The staff are mostly friendly and helpful. The staff working in the food court are particularily helpful and are always willing to help you with anything you need. If your looking for gifts your better off shopping online. The selection in store isn't fantastic and the section upstairs becomes cramped during Christmas when they try to squeeze more in than they should. If the tills are busy I'd advise heading to the till in the menswear section. Its always less busy!

My parents always love this store for its old fashion styles but it has now got a mixture of new and old clothes. They've realized that their style was old and have now revamped the store entirely.
