This is a pretty cool spot. I always try to support local and this was one of the only spots open early with breakfast and lattes.
The aesthetic is inviting and fun - very unique like a 1950's diner mixed with some millennial touches and a more relaxed feel.
We had a couple of the sandwiches and they were super tasty. The green chiles on everything are such a great touch to the flavor.
Coffee was also fantastic and much better than a chain.
I will warn you it's in a kinda weird spot and parking is a little tight but you'll figure it out!
Great experience, it will be my spot when I'm in town.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - KaiserShaft B.Tempe, USA0224 nov. 2023
Coffee was ok, ambiance was shabby, easy access off and back onto 66, but without a doubt, the rudest barista I have ever encountered. There were two other groups in the place that had already been served and another employee cleaning another area of the open floor plan seating area, pretty chill by all accounts. But the vibes coming from behind the front register were anything but chill and they were beaming out to greet me. Maybe they were having a bad day, maybe their meds weren't dialed in, but a simple question about the volume of my $6 quad shot sent them into a defensive and condescending fit. They immediately grabbed my drink and tossed it in the sink, and invited me to come back and watch them remake my drink In seconds and present it to me in an exasperated fashion.
Again, the coffee was ok, disappointing pick up from 4 whole shots (felt like 2 really), but for the price of good coffee today, I strongly suggest taking your business to a less dramatic environment, unless conflict is your thing, then this is a great place to play mental tug-o-war with an angry little elf this holiday season.

Great service and place to get a coffee before driving on the highway. I ordered the honey lavender latte and just wish there was a tad bit more lavender. I always like to buy the coffee beans to take back home to Phoenix. I will be back!

We went here on a whim while driving through Flagstaff. We got a regular hot coffee, a dirty chai-hot and a GF cookie. It was so good. The dirty chai was the best I've had in a while and the GF cookie was amazing!

Was advised by a chef at a local restaurant to come here for breakfast burritos and coffee. She did not steer me wrong! Matador had fun flavors for seasonal coffee items, the burrito was pretty good, and the breakfast sandwich was a little bit underwhelming but still good. The breakfast menu ends at 11 AM, so make sure to come in with plenty of time if breakfast is your vibe. We missed the cut off time for breakfast by a few minutes but the staff was so generous to make an exception for us. Easy to grab and go or they have some seating options with an indoor-outdoor vibe if you want to hang.

My dirty chai was amazing and their sandwiches are really good too. Came out quickly and the staff was friendly. Really cool inside and it's a bunch of old awesome stuff for a retro ambiance

My friends and I went here while waiting for an our table for brunch, and the coffee was AMAZING! There were classic and unique flavor options, including lavender honey which was amazing. The ladies working there were so kind and my friends and I want to make this our coffee stop when we are in flagstaff. Love it!!

Couldn't ask for more from this coffee shop! We stopped on our way up to Snowbowl- best choice for breakfast on the go. The breakfast sandwich packed a little heat but left us nicely fueled up for skiing. Coffee had rave reviews from us- we tried the dirty chai and almond milk latte. Staff were kind and welcoming. Overall a 10!
