MK Londyn

We are using MK Londyn for regular domestic cleaning. Additionaly I used them once for end of tenancy cleaning. We are very happy with our cleaner. She always shows up on time and is very reliable and clean.
We pay 8.50 GBP / hour for a weekly cleaning. The cleaners are insured. If my cleaner is sick or on holidays they send someone else or I can cancel the cleaning.
They cover whole Greater London.


Update March 2010: I not happy with their service anymore. We just got an email if don't agree to a change of the cleaning day they will send us a new cleaner. Our new cleaner has too much new clients. Oh thank you, for caring of the "old" clients. I decided to quit the contract.

I used MK Londyn for domestic cleaning from October 2011 to March 2012 when I terminated the contract due to poor cleaning and damage to property.
The cleaning wasn't thorough and the agreed tasks I had insisted on paying an extra hour to cover (to ensure there really was enough time to do it all) weren't always completed. Additionally there seemed to be a degree of callousness to the clean; the tops of two pieces of furniture were scratched beyond repair, two new light fittings were damaged and the cleaner scoured our newly fitted stainless steel benchtop. MK London state that all cleaners are trained to the highest standards, however in my experience this simply didn't seem to be the case.
MK Londyn had been recommended by a neighbour who had used them for 5 years. However with a change of cleaner things went downhill for them too. When my neighbour made a claim - accompanied by photographic proof - for damage to her stainless steel appliances which were stained by an inappropriate chemical being used on them, the owner of the company told her she was making the damage up and was emotional because she was pregnant. I had to back my neighbour up with evidence of the damage to my property by the same cleaner so she would be believed. So I would agree with the review above, the company doesn't seem to value even their loyal longterm customers, nor those who have got them new business.
