Pizzeria Lombardi

We loved our meal here. The bread was divine, and after Florence which had the worst bread I've ever eaten, it was a breath of fresh air.

The pizzas were also really good. The diavola was great. The staff like someone welse mentioned were also great, we also had Fabrizio who was really great, made it a fun experience. The gnocchi dish was also good and had smoky taste from the oven...

We started with the Bruschetta, so fresh and creamy.
We had the Ziti Genovese, 11/10!!! Rich stew yet felt so light! The DOP pizza, was a little basic nothing too special, but delicious and the crust was floofy and chewy and burnt to perfection. Followed by the arancino, HUGE and a fun cone shape, meaty, cheesy, crunchy, salty yum!
Definitely go inside and eat upstairs, plenty of room and A/C!

I don't know why this place has such low reviews, but this was some amazing amazing pizza! Highly recommend. Great service, too.

We had just arrived in Naples and were looking for a quick bite near our hotel (Santa Chiara Boutique Hotel). Lombardi A Santa Chiara Pizzeria was recommended by our driver and again by the hotel staff.

The restaurant is a small place on a very busy side street. We were greeted as soon as we walked up and a table was set for us just outside in a moment.

We ordered wine and a series of appetizers and a pizza. The wine was local, budget friendly and very drinkable. The food was served promptly and was hot and delicious.

As good as the wine and food was, the highlight of the experience was our waiter (Fabrizio). He was friendly, engaging and gave us countless recommendations on places to see, what to avoid and even where I could find a decent cigar. I know these waiters deal with millions of tourists, but it was really nice to have someone like Fabrizio not simply go through the motions.

Highly recommend.

Touristy, deadly slow service, freezing cold pasta upon finally arriving at table, mediocre pizza, bones mistakenly left in fish filet, and only high alcohol/low acid wine (which probably most people like but I don't). The staff were very friendly and apologetic, but that only goes so fat.

Had pizza and salad, both were very good. What made the experience was the very welcoming and good service from fabrezio. Would go back, we had fun and solid meal.

Went there with the family (2 and 3 year old), the chef's lunch menu was simple, with excellent flavour, but the presentation didn't really reflect it. The margarita pizza was tasty, but a little soggy in the middle. House vino rosso by the glass was fine, service was a little slow, but acceptable for a Sunday lunch and more than friendly. They take Visa and added service charge to the bill.
