The Antique Village

I always find some little surprise when I visit. Low key relaxed antique store. Many different seller booths all staged pretty nice.

Sorry to say but this antique village really lack the reality check... these items were overpriced and many of them with the "Made in China" tag still on it. Some items were antique and others that you can easily find on Amazon without having to leave the comfort of your home.
I'm all for supporting the small businesses however adding extra fees $$$ for debit and credit cards is not cool. I think I will check out other antique stores... this one missed the mark

Went here on a Saturday with my girlfriend as she's been wanting to check it out. Nicely laid out store with lots of stuff to look out. Lots of jewelry, collectables, some clothing. Saw some Star Wars and Star Trek collections that were pretty impressive. Vintage toys and collectables. Be prepared to spend a little time here and bring some comfortable walking shoes as there is a lot to take in. Enjoy!

We've come here many times since moving to San Diego several years ago and even on the rare occasions that we don't buy something we always enjoy looking around. We've bought everything from small tikis to a honeymoon set and have always felt we were getting a great deal. There's something for everyone and the prices are generally reasonable. Occasionally we come across a booth where the owner thinks his stuff is more valuable than gold but there are enough vendors that you can just skip over the gougers.

If you want to get lost for hours looking at cool antiques, this is the place to go! This shop is very large and has many booths to look at.

The customer service is lovely and I have some great conversations with the staff. I'm trying to make a habit out of stopping by every couple weeks since new things are being added all the time. Makes sure to take your time looking through each booth and go into each of them several times because it's easy to miss something good.

I'm looking forward to coming here for a long time!

If you want severely overpriced antiques, collectibles, and items that are neither but confusingly mixed in--THIS IS YOUR PLACE!

I love antique and vintage shops, especially of the "mall" variety. We began walking the outer perimeter inside the building, going clockwise from left. After seeing items that I know the going price for at a 200% up mark.... I still kept going and did a full lap, but the bad taste of being swindled stuck to me and I had to leave.

Now, it should be said that this is set up as a co-op vendor situation, so each booth owner sets their own prices. BUT, that doesn't mean much when the whole place is over priced. (I could go into why this occurs and my sneaky suspicions, but I'll spare you the details.)

Listen, I know it's a drive.... But if you're looking for vintage but quality.... Take a trip to Palm Springs or Palm Desert, Indio, etc. Otherwise, just expect high prices for mediocre selections and go here.

Great selections. We spent an hour wandering thru seeking hidden treasures. The staff helped me search for the last L I need from the scrabble treasure chest.

We had never been in here before and just happened to spot in nearby where we had made a furniture purchase. It looked promising so we opted to check it out.

Upon entering one the employees irritated me almost immediately and I told myself screw it, turned around and walked out, not desiring to spend my $$$ at the place. The wife stayed to browse the floor. She exited over a hour later with a couple of small items. She told me she enjoyed herself, but thought many of the vendors wanted way too much $$$ for many of the items. She might have given the place a 3 or 4 star rating, but this is my account and 2 stars (Could've been better) is what they get.

If you are into antique malls I say give the place a look-see. I by no means want to discourage anyone from doing so.

I totally love this place. I go that often to hunt antique China pieces and I'm never disappointed. I always find cute little finds for my kitchen. this place is a collection of antique stuff from different vendors who have set up small shops in there and there is a variety of items. If you are into antique items this place is a must visit
