One of the oldest churches in the region, 900 years old if I'm not mistaken. This one is a bit unusual, because it's one of only a handful round churches in the country. You have to pay for entry if you want to pray your worries away, but don't forget, even Moses started out as a basket case.

I was once told that round churchs were built so that the devil can't hide in the corners. I have no idea if this is true, but there is a very simple beauty about both this principle, and the building itself.
The chapel is cosy and appealing to visitors and well informed staff are always on hand. It also offers a brief snapshot of Cambridge through the ages in a series of display boards.

This is a distinctive, beautiful church, originally built in the twelfth century, and a wonderfully atmospheric location for the concerts that are frequently held here. It's well worth popping in to look at the interesting architecture, wall displays and video that is played for visitors. It's also the home of the Brass Rubbing Centre, and you can also leave from here for tours of Cambridge (which are not free, although entry to the church itself is).
